The Family Fun Zone

or The Family Learning Center, was a huge part of the 1.4 million dollar renovation to the Robert 'Sonny' Hill Community Center in 2025.

Since its grand opening in January of 2026, it has served as a space for young families to play, socialize, and develop early learning skills.

Programs offered at the Family Zone include:

  • Reading and literacy assistance for students K-3rd.

  • Thursday (weekly) playgroups for ages birth to five.

  • Curated family engagement events where families can enjoy free play in the Family Zone (during designated hours).

  • And other family focused scheduled activities.
